Henry H. and J. Betty Wheeler Resident Support Fund

This fund was established in 2012 by William “Bill” Greenfield to support residents in the University of Florida College of Dentistry’s School of Advanced Dental Sciences in honor of long-time friends Henry and Betty Wheeler.
Henry and Betty are members of the Palm Beach County Gator Club and generous supporters of UF. Two of their five sons, Robert and Timothy, attended the University of Florida. Robert earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 1985 and a juris doctorate in 1988, while Timothy earned a doctorate in medical sciences in 1980 and a doctor of dental medicine degree in 1985. Timothy was appointed senior associate dean and director of the UF School of Advanced Dental Sciences in 2011.
Bill earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida in 1983 and 1985, respectively. He is a developer for the Greenfield Development Company in Boca Raton, FL. Bill previously worked for Ga Sands and Company from 1983 to 1994. His wife, Margaret earned a bachelor’s degree in computer and information science from the University of Florida in 1984. Their daughter, Kara is a student at UF’s College of Public Health and Health Professions.
