This fund was established in 2012 by Sarah E. Chesrown to support an educational award, or awards to pediatric pulmonary fellows in the University of Florida Division of Pulmonology, Department of Pediatrics.

Sarah earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Indiana University in 1967, a medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1971 and a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Florida in 1994. She joined the UF faculty in 1979 as a pediatrics professor and retired in 2013. Sarah’s clinical interests included asthma and airway anomalies. She is a member of the American Medical Women’s Association and the UF Titletown Gator Clu
