Stephanie Kornprobst Wester worked as a fifth grade teacher at P.K. Yonge Development Research School from 1957 to 1958. She and her husband Bill established this scholarship in 2011 to honor and reward the hard work taking place at P.K. Yonge and the College of Education. This fund supports awards to College of Education graduate students, with a preference to students working in collaboration with P.K. Yonge Development Research School at the University of Florida.
Stephanie earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Kent State University, and a master’s in reading education from Johns Hopkins Universit
