Mary M. James Student Inspiration Fund for the Harn Museum of Art
Amended GA: support undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Florida through paid internships to increase paid internship opportunities for students from all backgrounds to create more diverse pre-professional opportunities. Secondarily, the fund can support grants for student-created projects, either individual or group based, related to the mission of the Harn Museum of Art.
Mary McLean James
Established 2011 to support grants for student-created projects related to the mission of the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art.
Mary McLean James taught in southwest Alabama public schools for 42 years. She began her education career in a one-room school and retired as a high school English teacher. Through her dedication to education, Mrs. James inspired many, including numerous members of her family who also became teacher
