Martinez-Pagliery Family Florida Opportunity Scholarship Endowment Fund

This fund was established in 2011 by Charlie Martinez to support the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program for students at the University of Florida.

Charlie earned a bachelor’s degree in building construction from the University of Florida in 1985. He is president of Caribe Homes, the largest private home builder in Miami, FL.

Charlie is the past president of the Latin Builders Association. He is a member of many industry oversight boards such as the Minimum Housing Appeals Board, the Board of Rules and Appeals and the Building Code Committee of Miami-Dade County.
