Established in 2011 by the estate of Carolyn G. Henderson to support faculty and academic programs in the University of Florida Department of Psychiatry dedicated to the research, awareness and education in the area of depression.
Carolyn was a homemaker and a member of the Junior League of Gainesville. She was preceded in death by her husband Robinson. The couple had three sons, all University of Florida graduates. The late Robinson Jr., earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering in 1962, and a juris doctorate in 1968; James earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1966; and Fredrick earned a master’s degree in business administration in 1979.
