Fund Purpose
GA: Support Florida Opportunity Scholarships; if the FOS program ceases to exist at the University, then the spendable income shall be used to support scholarship awards to first generation Florida students from low income families.

This fund was established in 2011 by Alan and Jennifer Fournier to support the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program at the University of Florida.
Alan earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1983.
Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in communication processes and disorders from the University of Florida in 198
