Dr. Abdol Chini Scholarship Fund

This fund was established in 2011 by a group of donors in honor of Abdol Chini for his service to the M.E. Rinker School of Building Construction.

Abdol received his bachelor’s degree from Tehran University in 1971 and his masters in structural Engineering from The George Washington University in 1983 and his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 1986. He has worked as a professor at the University of Florida since 1994 in the M.E. Rinker School of Building Construction where he has a special interest in sustainable construction, construction quality management and deconstructio
