Dean and Hazel Williams Scholarship/Fellowship Fund

This fund was established in 2011 as part of a the Dean and Hazel Williams trust to support scholarship or fellowship awards to students in the Department of Computer and Information Science and Engineering in the College.

Dean was born in 1920 in Acree, Georgia. He received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida in 1949. He worked for Dean Repairs, Inc. until 1995. Dean passed away in 1995.

Hazel was born in 1917 in Nauhus, New Hampshire. She passed away in 201
