GA: Support a one year fellowship to a student pursuing a PhD in Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences.
The Neal Pitts Foundation established this fund in 2011 to support a fellowship to a student pursuing a doctoral degree in Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences in the College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida.
Neal created the Neal Pitts Foundation in 2004. The organization works closely with Orange, Osceola and Seminole County schools and local audiologists to purchase hearing aids for school-age children in Central Florida.
Neal earned a bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College in 1975, a law degree from Ohio Northern University in 1978, and a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Florida in 198
