Fund Purpose
Ltr: Support Florida Opportunity Scholarships for students at UF; if the FOS program ceases to exist at the University, then the spendable income shall be used to support scholarship awards to first generation Florida students with low family income.

This fund was established in 2010 to support Florida Opportunity Scholarships for students at the University of Florida.
William was born in 1927 in Tallahassee, FL. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting 1948, and a bachelor’s degree in law in 1951, both from the University of Florida. William practiced with the Ausley, Collins and Truett law firm in Tallahassee before entering the U. S. Naval Reserve where he served for four years reaching the rank of lieutena
