This fund was established by William S. Pearce in 2010 to support scholarships in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida.
William earned a bachelor’s degree in communications in 1958 and a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 1959, both from the University of Florida. He began his career with J.C. Penny in 1973 and retired from the company in 2001. Prior to his career with J.C. Penny, William worked in public relation
