Dr. Arlan and Edith Rosenbloom Endowment for Pediatric Endocrinology
GA: Support the research, teaching, and education activities of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology in the Department of Pediatrics at UF; it is the Donors' intent to have this fund administered by the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology in accordance with the mission of/and with the concurrence of the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics.
This fund was established in 2010 by Arlan and Edith Rosenbloom to support research, teaching and education activities in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida.
Arlan graduated from the University Of Wisconsin School Of Medicine in 1958.
He joined the UF College of Medicine faculty in 1968, and is now an adjunct distinguished service professor emeritus of pediatrics. During his time at UF, Arlan contributed a great deal to the College of Medicine. He founded the Pediatric Endocrinology Division, the Florida Diabetes Camps, the UF Diabetes Research Education and Treatment Center, and the Regional Diabetes and Endocrine Program for Children.
