This fund was established in 2010 by the estate of Walter Van Munster to support an endowed fund to provide scholarships to pharmacy students at the University of Florida.
Walter earned a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Florida in 1937. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII South Pacific and the Occupation of Japan. He was a retired pharmacist who owned Suniland Rexall Pharmacy from 1957 to 1987.
