Deborah Klapp Memorial Award for Excellence in Fundraising

This fund was established in 2010 by a group of donors to support an annual award to one fundraiser for excellence in fundraising at the University of Florida in memory of Deborah “Debbie” Klapp.

Debbie earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and later received a master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Florida in 1981. She joined the UF staff in 1987 and worked for over 20 years in fundraising development for UF’s College of Pharmacy and the Warrington College of Business Administration.

Deborah passed away in 2007.
