Rinker Fellowship for International Student Exchange
This fund was established in 2010 by the Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Foundation, Inc. to support fellowships to students at M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction who participate in the international exchange programs with Australia, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore and other countries.
Marshall founded Rinker Materials Corporation with just one dump truck. The company worked on large projects, such as Miami’s Florida International University and Walt Disney World. He was the company’s chairman until he sold it in 1988. Marshall also established the M.E. Rinker, Sr. Foundation, Inc., and eventually had the University of Florida’s School of Building Construction named The M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction.
Marshall passed away in 199
