Steven M. Scott and Rebecca J. Scott Professorship

Steven and Rebecca Scott established this fund in 2010 to support one or more endowed professorships in the Department of Chemistry.

Scott received his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 1970. He graduated from the university’s medical school in 1974. He completed his OB-GYN residency at Duke Medical Center in 1978.

Rebecca is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After finishing her undergraduate studies, she went on to earn her health certificate in nurse anesthesiology from Duke in 1979.
