Kitzman Family Professorship
Trust: support a professorship in the area of genetics studies
This fund was established in 2007 by the estate of George H. Kitzman to support professorships in genetics in the College of Medicine at the University of Florida.
George earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree from the University of Colorado. He taught at several universities, including Fort Hays State University and Eastern New Mexico University. He moved to Florida in 1990 from Tucson, AZ, where he owned a hearing aid center.
George passed away in 2001.
