Dr. Robert L. Egolf Library Endowment
This fund was established in 2010 by Robert L. Egolf to support the acquisition, cataloging, and preservation of the Libraries’ premier children’s books collection.
Robert grew up in a small town in Western Pennsylvania. As a child he was an avid reader and developed a lifelong passion for literature.
Presently, his book collection includes approximately 2,800 children’s books, with an emphasis on antiquarian books. Some of his most prized antiquarian books include first edition copies of “The Wizard of Oz” and “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.”
Robert completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University and then went on to receive his medical degree from Temple University Medical School.
