Support the CSESar center and its resident education curriculum at the College of Medicine-Jacksonville
The Center for Simulation Education and Safety Research (CSESaR) is a 24,000 square foot facility for training in patient safety, complete with simulated emergency and surgery departments. One of the largest non-military simulation centers in the country, it offers training to medical professionals in a broad range of topics, ranging from pediatric emergency medicine to disaster response. The center focuses on learners from all aspects of care including ancillary staff, pre-hospital personnel, and medical students, as well as emphasis on nursing, resident and faculty physicians education.
The mission of the center is to promote quality patient care, expand patient safety initiatives and enhance multidisciplinary health care, education and teamwork through simulation and goal-directed training.
In striving toward its mission, the center aims to impact healthcare on an individual, local and national level.
