Brian R. Gamache

This fund was established in 2009 by Brian R. Gamache to support a professorship in the Department of Marketing at the Warrington College of Business.

Gamache graduated from the University of Florida in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. After several years in luxury hotel management, holding executive positions with Marriott Hotel Corporation and Hyatt Hotel Corporation, Gamache brought his invaluable leadership to WMS Industries, Inc., a premier innovator in electronic gaming.

After being named President and CEO of WMS Gaming Inc., a branch of WMS Industries, in 2001, Gamache’s leadership placed them among one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. In addition, he was named the chairman of the company in 2008. His passion, integrity, and values have created a respected culture of innovation within the organization, and his leadership skills have been honored with his receipt of the 2010 CEO of the Year award by the Illinois Technology Association and the 2010 Stevie Award for Executive of the Year in Media and Entertainment. Brian retired from WMS industries in the fall of 2013.
