The Construction Association of South Florida was founded in 1950 and was originally called the Broward Builders Exchange. The organization was created to allow members to discuss different parts of the construction business with each other, as well as help them expand their social networks.

Today, CASF has over 500 members and is considered one of the most distinguished construction-related organizations in the South Florida region. According to CASF’s website, the group’s primary mission is to “serve and develop the South Florida construction industry and to improve the interests and welfare of its members within the public interest.”
The organization offers numerous services to its members, including referrals and career services. CASF also gives out Craftsmanship Awards for outstanding work done in the fiel
