GA: support Florida Opportunity Scholarships for students at the University. If the Florida Opportunity Scholarships program ceases to exist at the University, then spendable income shall be used to support scholarship awards to first generation Florida students from low family incomes.
Steve and Lori Sadaka
This fund was established in 2009 by Steve and Lori Sadaka to support scholarships through the Florida Opportunity Scholars Program at the University of Florida.
Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida in 1979. In 1984, he founded Steven Douglas Associates, and continues to serve as CEO. The firm provides a variety of professional services, including accounting and finance. The company has branch offices in Tampa and New York, and clients that include Hyundai and the Walt Disney Company. Prior to starting his company, Steve worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Miami, FL.
Lori has worked on the PTO Board of Sagemont Upper School in Weston, FL.
Steve and Lori are members of the Broward County Gator Club. Their daughters are both University of Florida graduates. Megan earned a bachelor’s degree in recreation in 2010, and Jordan earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 201
