Phyllis I. and Bill Taylor International Travel Endowment
GA: support semester-long international student learning opportunities for students in the College in the fields of Interior Design and Architecture in such countries as Italy, France and china; awards will be made on a 3-year cycle, two consecutive years to Interior Design and the third year to Architecture.
This fund was established in 2009 by Phyllis I. and Bill Taylor to support semester-long international student learning opportunities for students in the field Interior Design and Architecture in countries such as Italy, France and China.
Phyllis earned a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Florida in 1976. Bill was also an alumnus of UF, earning a bachelor’s degree in 1975 and a master’s degree in 1977, both in Architecture. Together, Bill and Phyllis own a design and architecture firm, the Taylor and Taylor Partnership, which seeks to create “spatial portraits of their clients – melding existence and habitat in a union of complete agreement.”
