James E. Lockwood, Jr. Professorship in Proton Therapy
This fund is in honor of James E. Lockwood, Jr., who was born October 18, 1910 and passed away March 28, 2003. The fund, established in 2008, supports a professorship in proton therapy research in association with the Proton Therapy Center at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. The recipient will have a significant role in advancing the use of protons in cancer treatment.
