Linda Parker Hudson established this fund in 2003 to support a scholarship or fellowship for the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Florida.
Linda earned a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the University of Florida in 1972. She is the former president and CEO of BAE Systems, Inc., a global, U.S.-based defense, aerospace, and security company. Linda was an executive director on the BAE Systems board of directors and a member of the company’s executive committee. She was also an executive director on the BAE Systems, Inc. board of directors.
Linda is an active member of the University of Florida Foundation Board of Directors, UFF Finance Committee, Engineering Advisory Council, Engineering Campaign Council, and Industrial Engineering Advisory Board. She was named the 2011 Honorary Degree Recipient of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, as well as the 2010 USO Woman of the Year and a distingushed alumnus of the UF College of Engineerin
