Jim and Sharon Theriac Florida Opportunity Scholarship in Law
GA (Amended): scholarship shall be awarded to a Florida Opportunity Scholar who has been admitted to the College; when this criteria cannot be met, scholarship may be awarded to a student who may not be a Florida Opportunity Scholar due to residency status but otherwise meet the same qualification standards.
This fund was established in 2008 by James S. Theriac III and Sharon L. Theriac to support the College in building the diverse community that is essential to achieving its stated mission. Jim Theriac earned a juris doctor from the University of Florida in 1974 and is now a partner with the firm of Howze, Monaghan & Theriac PLC. Sharon also attended the University of Florida. Jim and Sharon have three sons.
