William F. and Elizabeth R. Leonard Tuition Scholarship Fund
GA: support tuition scholarship awards, based on need and merit, to law students attending the College of Law; preference to students from the Broward County area.
This scholarship was established to support the Fredric G. Levin College of Law. William F. “Bill” Leonard, who completed his degree in 1951, is a loyal supporter of the University of Florida. He is a member of Florida Blue Key, the Leadership Gift Committee of the UF Capital Campaign and the UF Foundation Board. In 1990, he was honored with a Distinguished Alumnus Award. Leonard has been a partner in the firm of Leonard and Morrison in Fort Lauderdale, FL, since 1953. He served as the chairman of the board of trustees of Holy Cross Hospital and was a member of the Florida Board of Regents. Leonard put himself through law school with the support of his wife, Elizabeth, also an alumna of UF, who taught elementary school to help pay his tuition.
