Goldstein Law Group Scholarship in Honor of Assistant Dean of Admissions Michael Patrick
GA (amended): support scholarship awards to a student(s) in the Levin College of Law; recipient to be chosen by the Dean and/or Law school financial aid/scholarship committee; minimum criteria for applicant is: 2nd yr law student, LSAT score of 159 or higher, has financial need and completes a 100 word essay on why he/she is deserving of this scholarship.
Goldstein Law Group established this fund in 2008 to honor Michael Patrick, retired assistant dean of admissions at the Fredric G. Levin College of Law. Patrick earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree in education at Drake University and was a social studies teacher and guidance counselor in Des Moines, IA schools. He came to the University of Florida in 1980 to serve as assistant registrar at the College of Law. He and his wife, Michele, have three children: Katelin, Hilary and Kevi
