Stanley Taylor Endowment Fund

This fund was established in 2007 by the estate of Stanley Taylor to support the greatest academic needs of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Stanley Taylor was born on August 15, 1917. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 1954. He worked for the city of Jacksonville in the Engineering Department and then the Health Department for nearly 28 years. Upon retiring, he was appointed executive director of the Mental Health Association of Jacksonville and he held that position for over 15 years until retiring again. His beloved wife, Kitty, preceded him in death in 1989. Stanley Taylor passed away on September 30, 2007.
