Marty and Starr Nass Graduate Scholarship in Real Estate Studies

Fund Purpose
GA: support graduate scholarship awards to recruit outstanding students to the Master of Science in Real Estate programs; preference to non-Florida resident students who have exhibited through past superior academic performance the intellectual attributes to be viewed as "Best in Class" and also demonstrated outstanding leadership skills that differentiated the applicant among his/her peers.

Martin D. Nass and Starr P. Nass established this endowed fund in 2007. Martin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1960 and a master’s degree in business administration in 1962 from the University of Florida. Marty played on UF’s varsity baseball team and is a member of the F Club, UF’s letter winners association. He is a member of the UF Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies advisory board and is Chair of the UF Foundation New York Regional Committee. He has more than 30 years of consulting experience and more than 35 years of real estate-related and mortgage banking management experience. Starr is a real estate agent in the Pound Ridge, NY area.
