Phil Griffin Distinguished Lecture Series Fund

Phil Griffin

This fund was established by friends and colleagues in 2007 in memory of J. Phil Griffin, Jr., to support the Phil Griffin Distinguished Lecture Series.

Phil Griffin was born July 26, 1952 in Tampa, FL. He earned both his master’s degree and specialist from the UF College of Education in Marriage and Family Counseling in 1977. Phil worked for UF and the UF Alumni Association for over 25 years. Phil was survived by his wife, Georgia, and his two children; Heather L. Griffin and John P. Griffin III.

Phil passed away on September 6, 2007.
