Margaret Beshore Boonstra and her children created this endowment in memory of husband and father Ambassador Clarence A. Boonstra. Their gifts recognize the family’s longstanding involvement with and love of Latin America, as well as their longtime affiliation and friendships with faculty at the Center for Latin American Studies. The endowment supports grants for graduate students pursuing research in Latin America or the Spanish-speaking Caribbean.
