Laura and Philip Dean Scholarship

This fund was established in 2007 by Laura and Philip Dean to support scholarship awards to pharmacy students with an interest in community pharmacy. The Deans are involved in local civic organizations and charitable activities.

Laura Dean earned a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Florida in 1975. She is a third generation pharmiacist; her grandfather, Henry A. Campbell, was a pharmacist for more than 50 years and her father, Carl A. Guilford, Sr., graduated from UF in 1964 and worked as a pharmacist until 1997. Laura’s sister, Yvonne Guillot, is also a UF graduate and is practicing community pharmacy.
