Folke Peterson Dean’s Distinguished Professorship

This fund honoring Folke H. Peterson supports a professorship in the College of Medicine. Peterson passed away in December 1988. The Folke H. Peterson Charitable Foundation has had a long history of providing financial resources to Florida animal welfare organizations. The foundation is also responsible for half of the monies needed to construct a facility at the University of Florida’s Horse Teaching unit.
