Andrew J. Semesco Fund for Oral, Head, and Neck Cancer Research

This fund was established by the Andrew J. Semesco Foundation in memory of Andrew J. Semesco in 2007 to support research of oral, head and neck cancers.

Andrew Semesco was born September 29, 1977. He attended Florida State University and on October 29, 1998, in his third year of college, Andy was diagnosed with oral squamous cell carcinoma at the base of the tongue. Andrew received care for tongue cancer at the University of Florida before passing away in 1999 at the age of 21.
