Marion M. Preston Scholarship fund for DOCE Geriatric Care Management Program

This endowment was established by Malcolm and Susan Preston in honor of Elizabeth Bodie Gross and named for Malcolm’s mother, Marion M. Preston.

Elizabeth Bodie Gross is a geriatric care manager who assisted and cared for Marion Preston for more than seven years. Elizabeth is also one of the co-developers of the University of Florida’s online Geriatric Care Management program.

The Preston’s had asked Elizabeth what they could do to help others who have aging parents, and her recommendation was to contribute to the education of health care professionals who are interested in caring for the elderl
