This fund was established in 2007 by the Thomas M. Kirbo and Irene B. Kirbo Charitable Trust.

Thomas and Irene Kirbo were longtime residents of Jacksonville, FL. Thomas was active in business and real estate, and Irene was involved in civic and cultural activities.
