Dr. William G. “Bill” Lassiter, Jr. and Aneice R. Lassiter, created this fund in 2007 to support outstanding faculty members in building construction at the University of Florida. Bill graduated from the University of Florida in 1951 with a bachelor’s degree in building construction. He and Aneice are champions of the Gator cause and also established a professorship in the College of Medicine at the University of Florida.
