Edmond H. Prominski Endowment Fund

This endowment was established in 2007 by the Edmond H. Prominski Foundation to provide support for teaching, research and academic programs in the Department of Chemistry.
Edmond Prominski attended the University of Florida to receive a master’s degree in biochemistry in 1952 after earning his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University. He was born in 1928 in Old Bridge and lived in Washington, D.C. before moving to Florida. Edmond worked as a biochemist for the Environmental Protection Agency and served in the Korean War. He passed away in 2003.
