BB&T Professorship in Free Enterprise Fund
Letter: support faculty member in perpetuity who will play an integral role in the coursework, speaker series and research competition; BB&T's CEO can review the curriculum vitae of the candidates for the professorship and provide his/her comments to the Dean; individual occupying professorship will have an understanding of Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism and participate directly in the related coursework, speaker series, and research competition.
This fund was established in 2006 by BB&T Charitable Foundation to support a faculty member with an understanding of Ayn Rand’s philosophy of Objectivism to participate directly in the related coursework, speaker series, and research competitions within University of Florida business programs with a special focus on the moral foundations of Capitalism.
