Joshua Benjamin Weitzel Fund for Developmental Neurobiology
GA: Support neurodevelopmental research at the McKnight Brain Institute..
This fund was established in 2007 by Kent and Suzanne Weitzel to support pediatric brain research. Kent and Suzanne’s son, Joshua B. Weitzel, was born with a severe birth defect of the brain, and had many surgeries during his 24 year life. Joshua passed away in 2006, but continues to inspire our researchers work through his fund.
If you are looking for a way to make a difference in the area of birth defects and neurodevelopmental research, then please partner with us in our mission. Opportunities are available to support care, training of the next generation of specialists, and transformative research. The work of the physicians and scientists dedicated to this field is greatly enhanced and sustained through private philanthropy.
