Robert B. Primack Memorial Foundations of Education Endowment
Amended GA: Support the following items for graduate students and faculty aligned with Social Foundations of Education. For Students: included but not limited to scholarships, travel stipends, tuition assistance and funding to complete research. For Faculty: included but not limited to travel support, research support, a lecture series and course development. (See Amended GA for additional details and criteria)
Alice Primack established this fund in 2006 in honor of her late husband to support graduate students and faculty aligned with Social Foundations of Education at the University of Florida.
Robert joined the UF faculty in 1966 as an associate professor of educational psychology. He taught social foundations of education for over 30 years. Robert earned a bachelor’s degree from Monmouth College in 1961, and a master’s degree and doctorate degree from Rutgers University in 1963 and 1972, respectively. In 1978, he was named a UF President’s Scholar.
Robert passed away in 2006.
