Philip A. Decker GatorNest Endowment
GA: support teaching, research and programs in the Gator Nest program in the College, most specifically students and faculty who mentor and train other students.
This fund was established by DEDC, Inc. dba Dow Electronics in memory of Philip A. Decker in 2006. It supports programs, research and teaching in the Gator Nest program. Decker was an entrepreneur and founder of Dow Electronics, a supplier of signal reception and signal distribution equipment. The GatorNest program provides a hands-on learning experience for graduate students who want to make a difference with a real company. Students work in a team to conduct research, analyze and formalize a solution, and write a full report for a real issue facing the business world.
