Harold Walton and Margaret Harn Goforth Endowment

Children of Harold Walton and Margaret Harn Goforth established this endowment in 2006. Hal W. Goforth, Jr., Sam H. Goforth and Margaret Goforth Glass created this endowment to support teaching and educational programs at the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art. Harold Walton earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida in 1943. In 1960, he helped form Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan in Ocala, where he served as president and chairman of the board until his retirement in 1985. Margaret Harn Goforth was a founding member of the Harn Museum of Art. Harold passed away in 2004, and Margaret passed away in 2006.
