Bob Federspiel
This fund was established by family and friends in honor of Robert W. (Bob) Federspiel in 2006 for the purpose of supporting the publication of the Transplant Endeavor newsletter.
Bob Federspiel was born October 9, 1951 in West Palm Beach, Florida. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1972 and earned his juris doctor in 1974 from the University of Florida. He worked with Delray Beach lawyer Ernest Simon until 1983, when he became a partner in Spinner, Dittman, Federspiel and Dowling. He was also the lawyer for the Delray Beach Housing Authority for 28 years, and was the attorney for the South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Board since its inception in 1974. Bob’s wife, Cindy, graduated from UF in 1974 with a Bachelor’s in Education. The couple has two grown children, Brad and Becky.
Bob passed away on October 15, 2005 following a tragic accident in Asheville, NC, at the age of 54. He is survived by Cindy, Brad, Becky (also a graduate of UF), sisters Jana Riherd and Laurie Vassalotti, their families, and may friends and admirers.
