Established in 2006, this fund honors Jerry L. Nielson, the retired Chairman and Professor of the Department of Interior Design at the University of Florida. Nielson earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and was the former President of the Interior Design Educators Council. He and his wife, Barbara, have two sons, Jeffrey and Scot
