Dan Galfond Memorial Scholarship Fund
GA: support scholarships for law students in the Levin College of Law; scholarships may be given at the discretion of the Dean and/or the Financial Aid Committee.
Julio and Sandra Galfond created this fund in 2006 in memory of their son, Daniel P. Galfond.
Dan was born January 1, 1975 and attended Hollywood Hills High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in building construction in 1997 from the University of Florida and later went on to get his juris doctor in 2001. He was associated with the law firm of Siegried, Rivera, Lerher, DeLatora and Sobel, P.A. of South Florida.
Dan lived a very active and engaging life. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta and a huge Gator football supporter. He later lived in South Miami Beach, enjoying the company of good friends and famil
