Rita Kobb Nursing Informatics and Technology Lectureship Fund

Purpose

Support cost of travel, speaker fees, honorariums and miscellaneous expenses associated with hosting leaders in nursing informatics.

History

The lectureship supported by this fund has evolved into a biennial event, the Rita Kobb Informatics Symposium. The fund was created by a gift made in honor of Rita Kobb, a UF nursing alumna and nursing informatics expert. The founding gift was from Bill and Patti Alcorn, Rita’s sister and brother-in-law.
