Mark A. and Dorothy H. Ahrano Excellence Fund
Support Warrington College of Business as directed by the Dean; 1st pref, programs of highest priority in area of entrepreneurship and innovation; 2nd pref areas of highest need as determined by the Dean, such as, program support, faculty support and/or student scholarships; all awards distributed will be in the name of Mark A and Dorothy H Ahrano.
This endowment was established in 2006 by the estate of Mark A. and Dorothy H. Ahrano to provide support for the highest priority needs in the area of entrepreneurship and innovation. Secondly, the fund supports the areas of highest need as determined by the Dean such as program support, faculty support and student scholarships.
A certified public accountant by trade, Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida in 1937 and was an avid supporter of his alma mater. He passed away in January of 2000 at the age of 84. His wife Dorothy has continued his legacy of dedication to the University.
